Music Teaching Opportunities in Cirencester
We’re looking for talented, friendly musicians to join the teaching team at Cirencester Music Academy.
Whether you already teach or have never taught before, if you’re a great musician who enjoys helping people learn, we’d love to hear from you.
You might already teach, be a working musician, be studying music, or simply be an excellent player who has never considered teaching before.
We’re building a team of approachable, enthusiastic musicians who can inspire students and make learning enjoyable.
Previous teaching experience isn’t essential. If you have the musical ability and the right attitude, we can provide training and support to help you become a confident teacher.
You have strong practical knowledge of your instrument and genuinely love playing music.
You’re patient, encouraging and excited by the idea of helping children and adults develop their musical skills.
You communicate well and want to create a positive, supportive experience for every student.
We’re interested in hearing from musicians across a wide range of instruments. Play something we haven’t listed? Please get in touch anyway. Our teaching offering will continue to grow.
Acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar and ukulele.
Drum kit teachers who can inspire beginners through to more experienced players.
Piano and keyboard musicians comfortable teaching children and adults.
Friendly vocal teachers who can build technique, confidence and performance skills.
Flute, clarinet and other woodwind instruments.
Violin, cello and other string instruments. Multi-instrument teachers are especially welcome.
We provide the professional environment, students and day-to-day support around your lessons, leaving you to focus on the most important part — teaching.
Teach from dedicated, well-equipped rooms at our Cirencester town-centre academy.
No previous teaching experience is required. We’ll help the right musicians develop their teaching skills.
We promote the academy and build the student base, so you don’t have to find every student yourself.
We take care of student bookings and day-to-day lesson administration.
No chasing students for lesson payments. We manage the billing side of the academy.
Be part of a community of musicians and teachers rather than working completely on your own.
Teaching experience is always a bonus, but what matters most to us is enthusiasm, great communication and a genuine love of helping others achieve their musical goals. We’re looking for friendly, encouraging people who can inspire students, build their confidence and make learning music enjoyable.
Bring your experience into a professional academy where the admin and student bookings are taken care of for you.
Teaching can be a rewarding way to use your musicianship alongside performing, studying or other musical work.
That’s absolutely fine. If you’re an accomplished musician with the right personality, we can help with the teaching side.
We’d just like enough information to get a good feel for you as a musician and the kind of teaching you could offer.
Most importantly, tell us what you love about music and why teaching at Cirencester Music Academy appeals to you.
Let us know which instrument or instruments you play, your musical background, experience and typical availability.
If it looks like we could be a good fit, we’ll arrange a relaxed conversation and tell you more about how teaching at the academy works.
We’ll support you with our teaching approach, academy systems and everything you need before welcoming your first students.
Tell us about your music, the instruments you play and the days you may be available. We’d love to hear from you.
