Returns and cancellations
This policy covers goods purchased from Cirencester Music Academy Ltd. Music lesson bookings have separate terms. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Changed your mind about an online purchase?
For online purchases, including click-and-collect orders, you can cancel from the time you place your order until 14 days after the day you collect or receive your goods. You then have a further 14 days to return them after telling us you wish to cancel.
To cancel, email info@cirencestermusicacademy.co.uk with your name, order number and the items you wish to cancel. Any clear statement of your decision to cancel is sufficient; you do not have to use a particular form. You can also cancel before collection.
Returning items if you change your mind

You must pay any costs involved in returning change-of-mind purchases. You can return them in person or send them back securely packaged. We do not provide a collection service for change-of-mind returns of click-and-collect orders.
You may inspect goods as you would in a shop. We may make a deduction for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
Please return all included accessories and, where possible, the original packaging. Original packaging is not a condition of your statutory cancellation rights.
These return-cost arrangements do not affect your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.
Supplier-delivered pianos and drum kits
Where we separately arrange supplier delivery of a piano or electronic drum kit, delivery to UK mainland addresses is included in the agreed price.
For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for the return costs. For bulky goods that cannot normally be returned by post, we will explain the return arrangements and estimated return or collection cost before you commit to purchasing.
Please contact us before returning a supplier-delivered item so we can confirm the correct return address and arrangements. Do not send it directly to the supplier without instructions from us.
Supplier delivery does not remove your statutory cancellation rights. Your purchase contract is with Cirencester Music Academy Ltd.
Refunds for cancelled online orders
We issue refunds without undue delay using the original payment method, without charging a refund fee.
For goods you return, we refund within 14 days of receiving them back or receiving evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.
If you cancel before receiving your goods, or we have offered to collect them, we refund within 14 days of being informed of your cancellation.
We also refund any standard outbound delivery charge. Any additional amount paid for premium delivery is not refunded. Where delivery was included in the purchase price, we do not deduct an outbound delivery charge from your refund.
Any permitted deduction for handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods will be explained to you.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
If your goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, not as described or not fit for purpose, please contact us with your order details and a description of the problem.
Photos can help us assess the issue, but they are not a condition of your statutory rights.
You normally have a short-term right to reject faulty goods within 30 days of receiving them and obtain a refund. After this period, you may still be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund, depending on the circumstances.
We will explain the appropriate remedy and agree suitable return arrangements. Where required by law, we will cover reasonable return costs. Please contact us before arranging a courier so we can help organise an appropriate method.
Your rights are against Cirencester Music Academy Ltd, even where a supplier delivered the item. You do not have to pursue the manufacturer instead of us.
Purchases made in the shop
There is no automatic right to return goods simply because you change your mind when the purchase was made in person.
Please ask us about any discretionary exchange arrangements before buying. This does not affect your statutory rights if goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose.
Orders purchased online and collected from our shop remain subject to the online cancellation rights described above.
